W/ The Peaceful Presence Project - Erin Collins MN RN CHPn and Elizabeth Johnson MA

Learning Objectives:
1. Describe the Compassionate Communities Model of Care.
2. Identify two ways that end-of-life doulas support individuals during serious and terminal illness.

The Peaceful Presence Project is a nonprofit organization, based in Bend, with a mission to reimagine the way communities talk about, plan for and experience serious illness and the end of life. Co-directors Elizabeth Johnson, MA and Erin Collins, MN RN CHPN will discuss their mission of improving end of life literacy and empowering communities with the skills and knowledge to support each other in living, aging and dying well, in place.
