Friends and our mutual love for paper crafting should be celebrated every single day. I used the amazing The Works- All in One Tool by We R Memory Keepers to decorate a 4 x 4 Mini Album (also from We R Memory Keepers) with photos from a recent Scrapbooking In person event we held in Denver, Colorado in July of this year. The Works tool helped me create tabs, envelopes, tags, and rosettes. Did I forget to mention this is also a paper trimmer and paper folder?. I know! It is my new favorite tool and I’m excited to share the step by step process of how I put this together:

1. I selected four different patterned papers from Vicki Boutin’s ‘Sweet Rush’ collection and trimmed them at 5”W x 41/2”H
2. I then created the tabs following the steps that came with the tool.
3. I created an envelope that could fit a 4” x 4” card.
4. I created two 3” x 4” tags with different patterned papers.
5. I used one of the page protectors from the mini album as a guide to open holes on the tab pages, tags, envelope, and additional insert pages I created. I had the best time playing with the ‘Sweet Rush’ collection and all its embellishments.
6. I used a big sentiment piece for my cover title and created a couple of rosettes using the All in One tool. I finished the cover by adding a couple of ephemera pieces and a few fussy cut flowers.

TIPS OR ADVICE:
Take advantage of the amazing tools that are available for us. Make sure you learn how to use them and make the most of them. There are so many amazing projects that can be created with just one simple tool. Challenge yourself to create new things.
Using pieces of scrap paper to test a new tool can be a great way to avoid any frustration or feeling bad for losing a piece of your favorite patterned paper. Getting the perfect cut or the perfect shape you are trying to achieve may take a few tries.

Varies: Depending on how many details you add to each page and the amount of pages you add to your album. It can take from 1 to 5 hours to put all together.
