We have had a lot of bad weather of late so could not get back up on the 951 to sort out fuel pump issues. Obtained a special tool from Finning Caterpillar to remove fuel injection pump barrel segments. Removed number one and number four. Rack still stuck solid. Thought about removing the governor but decided to remove all segment. On removing number three it was found to be stuck solid. Fuel rack now moving free. All the parts were brought home for cleaning . Hopefully on refitting we will get the engine running at last.
