How Ninja Actually Trained to Throw Their Shuriken

Speaking of ninja is shuriken. However, real shurikens were not used as in the anime. So how were they used in reality? In order to learn about it, I have returned to the Ninja Dojo again this time. We learned about the shurikens officially used in shuriken competitions and how to throw them, as well as how to throw the bō-shuriken (stick shuriken) used by real ninja in battle.
