The Laura leather jacket is Richa’s new-for-2022 sports-touring suit. The chassis of the suit comprises cowhide with panels of a Spandex-style stretch material. Concertina stretch in the bendy areas contribute to the suit’s comfort. At the collar and at the sleeve ends, you get neoprene to absorb the rain, but also because neoprene is soft against the skin. Armour comes courtesy of D3O and comes fitted in the elbows, shoulders, knees but not the hips although we here at Motolegends have decided to also include hip armour. There’s a pocket for an optional back protector. For cooler weather, the top and bottom are supplied with removable thermals. For warmer weather the suit has perforated panels. On the outside of the jacket are two zipped pockets; on the inside there are two in the thermal liner and two inside the jacket itself. There’s an adjustable belt at the waist. There are zips at the ends of the sleeves. The jacket also comes with both a short and a long zip to allow the Laura to be attached to any Richa pant. You get concertina stretch above the knees, but also at the back on the waist band and this will make a difference when the top and bottom are zipped together. Long zips at the bottom of the legs should allow the pants to be worn over a touring boot, although most people will wear their boots inside the legs of the pants. The pants have no pockets.
