Fixing a 2016 Jeep Wrangler JK/JKU Passenger Side Door Water Leak (Wet Carpet and Floorboard)

My Jeep has been to the dealer multiple times for water leaking into the passenger side floor board, but the leak doctor could never figure it out even after replacing tons of seals and weatherstripping. I gave up bringing it in for 'repair' after the fourth time, and decided to invest quite a few months into figuring it out myself. They always attempted an A-pillar leak repair (cause that's where the water would exit on to the carpet), but in my case it was a B-pillar leak traveling up to where the A-pillar is, all hidden under the door sill trim. This video covers fixing both an A-pillar and B-pillar leak, because after I fixed the B-pillar leak I noticed I had introduced an A-pillar leak, haha.

After replacing the weatherstripping around the passenger door, the B-pillar mucket seal, adding additional rubber inside the new weather seal by the door catch (the rubber came from the old door weather seal -- just cut up how much you need), and adjusting my door catch -- I solved the B-pillar leak. Replacing the watherstripping on the door to fix the B-pillar side, caused the A-pillar to leak.

So, to fix the collateral A-pillar leak I added some additional rubber inside the door hinge side of the weather seal, as well as replacing the foam that's part of the end of the "Windshield Frame to Cowl Weatherstrip" with new camper tape and some extra windshield silicone.

The Jeep just went through multiple thunderstorms this week, with many inches of rain and no sign of a leak. Anyway, below are the parts I used that I talk about in the video. Hope this helps in fixing any water leaks you might be having!
