Surtr got buff to his 3rd skill allowing him to bypass death prevention mechanics from buffs or passives. This is a simple example of him killing a Garo in a single hit ignoring Garo's passive to prevent his death and ignoring Hwadam's passive that also prevents death of an ally. He then does the same thing to the Harmonia kill her through Hwadam's passive. Notice that it does not reduce Hwadam's HP any and just bypasses the passive completely. This skill has been tested to also ignore Endure buff and Triana's passive.

My Surtr is using low quality test runes spd/cd/atk on vio/energy. He has very low damage with these runes, but with better runes or stats he could do much more damage with his third skill (Summary Conviction).

I made this video to showcase his new skill change and how effective it is. I think it has gone relatively unnoticed and maybe most only felt it would bypass the Endure buff and not passives of team members like Triana and Hwadam. The skill does not prevent revive, so it will not stop a reviver from reviving the target, but it does help to take out death prevention passive heavy defenses in 4* towers in Guild Siege. This makes Surtr an excellent counter to Garo defenses as he can be taken out very quickly and not have to worry about only using a multi-hit mon to counter with.
