Beetlejuice - Game Boy - Full Playthrough

A complete playthrough of Beetlejuice on the Game Boy. This was developed by Rare and released in 1992 on the infamous LJN label. It's a completely different game to Rare's other Beetlejuice title for the NES. There are six stages that are all quite varied, gameplay includes platforming, shooting, puzzles, memory games, mine carting, more platforming and of course a final boss.

In typical 8-bit Rare style this game is extremely hard, especially towards the end. It goes out of it's way to screw you over and there are no continues at all. You can get extra lives but most of them require you to beat the mini games, which aren't always easy. I never really got the hang of doing the attic level well and that bouncy snake stage before the boss can be a real pain to get right. I do lose a few lives in this run down to silly mistakes but to be honest this is the only time I've finished this game and I was kinda glad to be done with it.
