Disruption and innovation are the key components of Israel's Startup ecosystem. Often times, we just get used to the way things are done. But once in a while, brilliant people look at a process and think "This can be done better!" For instance, dialysis treatment requires 6 needle punctures a week. This frequency tends to damage the patient's veins. Philip Libman of https://accessforlife.biz has patented a tiny titanium device that is implanted just under the patient's skin, making the entire process far simpler, more efficient and far less damaging.
