Examining The Darkness Games (And Comics)

The Darkness series is one of the better, memorable, and overlooked series to emerge during the seventh generation.

The first Darkness is a fantastic game. A game that sticks with you long after the credits roll.

The Darkness 2, while a good game, it's very much a "sale game". One you'd buy on a steam sale, and have a few good hours with. The Darkness 2 is enjoyable, but nothing special. A sequel that's far more conventional and done by a different studio. It doesn't help that The Darkness 2 ends with a huge cliffhanger that remains unresolved as of writing.

In this video, we'll dig into both titles of The Darkness series, where they accel, and where they falter. As well, since The Darkness is based on a comic series, we'll also take a gander at The Darkness comics.
