As I grew older, I developed a deeper appreciation for the original trilogy, and for good reason. The writing and characters are far superior to those in the prequels and rank among the best in cinema. In this video essay, I focus on analysing the relatively brief sequence between Yoda and Luke, where we witness a pivotal moment in Luke’s journey to becoming the hero we love.
