Chandigarh, Mar 17 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Thursday put a stay order on the Punjab government's bill de-notifying the land issued for the controversial Sutlej-Yamuna Link canal. Expressing happiness, Haryana Chief Minister ML Khattar said the apex court had also directed the Punjab government to stop filling the canal land with mud till the time a definite order comes on the matter. He added the decision by the court is satisfactory as the bill passed by the Punjab government is unconstitutional.
