NAMIBIA 2022 | AMAZING NATIONALPARKS: MUDUMU, MAHANGO AND BUFFALO PARK | CAPRIVI

Hello adventurer!

In 2022, while traveling through the beautiful country of Namibia, we also visited the caprivi-strip.

In this video we show you the amazing nationalparks: Buffalo Game Park, Mahango Nationalpark and Mudumu Nationalpark.

The Buffalo Game Park (the official name is Buffalo Core Area) is located on the east side of the Okavango River in the Kavango Region of Namibia. The park has a size of 629 km² and is part of the 2007 proclaimed Bwabwata National Park.

The Mahango Game Park (the official name is Mahango Core Area) is on the west side of the Okavango River off the C48 near Popa Falls. The park is very small, measuring only 245 km². The Mahango Game Park is also a part of the 2007 proclaimed Bwabwata National Park.

And last but not least: The Mudumu National Park! These park is located in the Caprivi Strip in northern Namibia and is bordered on the west by the Kwando, the river that borders Botswana. The park is about 1000 km² in size and has a very unusual landscape for Namibia: rivers, thatched islands and marshes (flat areas without natural elevations). Because of the sometimes difficult sandy slopes, the park should be explored by off-road vehicle or boat.

If you are looking for real and wild national parks, then these parks are the right address!

Little tourism allows you to visit the park in peace and watch the animals undisturbed. It is also possible to see the BIG 5 there. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended.
