NFL on CBS Theme (1990-92)

After seeing someone on YouTube upload some 1990-era NFL on CBS games, I was inspired to stitch this little ditty together. Based on on-air clips on YouTube (withholding the name of said YouTube account since I don't want his game broadcasts to get taken down), this is as close as I can come to an authentic sounding version of the NFL on CBS theme used from 1990-1992. You'll probably notice an edit point or two and some differences in audio quality, again, because these are snippets of the theme's use on the air (i.e. on "The NFL Today", NFL game coverage, Super Bowl game coverage, etc.), but I hope you enjoy it nevertheless.

The theme has been described by some as "uninspired" which may be a bit harsh. Is it as good as the "Pots & Pans" style themes that preceded it? No. Is it as good as the Frankie Vinci penned themes that followed it? No. But, in the full as heard during Super Bowl XXIV, it's not a bad piece of music. If only it were in the full and in the clear...

No challenge to ownership is implied with this video...just showing some love to the days when NFL coverage was markedly better.
