MASSENA COLLISION CENTER CONSIDERATION

Описание к видео MASSENA COLLISION CENTER CONSIDERATION

I hit a Deer and mostly damaged the vehicle ahead of the radiator on the passenger side. (The Deer was airborne just before contact.)
I took it to a collision center in Massena, NY for repairs. (I thought that they had done a good job on my truck the year before when a guy ran a STOP sign.)
When we picked up the vehicle we noticed that the two headlights didn't even look like one another. We were headed out of town so we figured we would check it completely before requesting the correction.
We could see that the headlights were wrong without any knowledge.
We could see that the hood was 1/4" high at the release.
Don't they even look at their finished work?
We had no AC, so I looked to make sure that it was due to the repairs.
Indeed, they never reconnected the AC Compressor unit.
We took it back and they tried to correct the headlights but failed two more times. So they told me that if I would take it to a Toyota dealer to troubleshoot the headlight problem, they would reimburse me the cost AND perform the correction. (You can view my other video for that fiasco.)
I told the collision center; the correct headlight model numbers, where to buy the OE headlights and the fraction of the cost compared to their reconditioned headlight attempts.
I was never reimbursed.
The headlights were a different part number but they did operate correctly.
They connected the AC Compressor/oil/refrigerant and told me how great it was working now that they corrected it. (It worked great when I dropped it off for the collision repairs.)
The fluids were all still low.
There were addendums to my insurance estimates.
They were paid to correct their mistakes?
View the video. Wouldn't you question what you saw if you were installing these?
I didn't get a survey to fill out once the RO was closed.
I don't wonder why.
So you may want to consider this - or not.
