Super Street Fighter II is Capcom's swan song on the X68000. I'd say they went out with a bang on this one, especially with it originally being a CPS2 game. For a home version, it was nonpareil (a word you could also use to describe the X68000 itself!) until the Street Fighter Collection, which featured Super and Super Turbo, appeared on 32-bit consoles a few years after. There is one difference I noticed. In T. Hawk's stage, look closely at the 2-layer crowd. Spectators in front are animated, while the ones in the back are still. In the CPS2 version, both layers of the crowd animate.

As before with CE, you can use Mega Drive or Super Famicom controllers with an adapter. The official adapters are hard to find now, but I've heard you can mod a Genesis controller to get around the need for that.

The quality of this port may make you a bit sad that they didn't try Super SF2 Turbo on X68000. Making an add-on disc would've probably been enough to do it. If they did, it would've surely beaten the already very good MS-DOS version of ST.
