BMW E46 323ci Drift build | Ep 10 - Installing E46 ebay angle kit lock adapters

Описание к видео BMW E46 323ci Drift build | Ep 10 - Installing E46 ebay angle kit lock adapters

In this video I install eBay angle kit lock adapters. When installing I found that my tie rod ball joint wouldn't fit into the lock adapter, so I bought a 7 deg ball joint reamer and reamed the hole out to suit my tapered ball joint. I also cut down my tie rods to bring the toe back to true (still have to get proper alignment).

I used M14x50 bolts, washers and nyloc nuts instead of the poxy 12mm stud that they supply you in the kit that just flops around like throwing a hotdog down a hallway.

I cut 25mm off the tie rod thread and 15mm of the tie rod end.
Disclaimer: Do your own measurements to work out what you need to cut off, as you might have different tie rods than me.

I ended up having to use 35mm spacers to stop the wheels from hitting the chassis and also had to remove the sway bar, because the wheels were rubbing on it also.

Any constructive feedback, ideas and mods for these cars would be muchly appreciated.
