Milly goes to London and Meets JLS

Milly was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2007 and found out last month that her condition is life threatening.

Her parents Sam and Alex have made a desperate appeal for financial help from the public as they prepare to face months of Milly undergoing further surgery aimed at shrinking the tumour. They hope this will provide them with more time together and more options for Milly's treatment too. After Milly's diagnosis in 2007, surgeons reduced the tumour from the size of a tennis ball to the size of a golf ball, but the operation left her blind in one eye, and she had a stroke post-operatively.
After 18 months chemotherapy, the family resumed a fairly normal life, until the recent news the tumour had recurred, and was life-threatening.
Surgery to reduce its size is risky, and could result in significant complications. Milly's dad, Sam, is self-employed and, with an uncertain time ahead, the family is desperate to avoid financial problems caused by the loss of his earnings, and be able to spend quality time with their daughter, as well as finance her developing needs.

The family are going through an awful time and Rays of Sunshine were at least able to treat them to a very special couple of days this week when they travelled by train from Northampton to London where a limousine drove them to Madame Toussauds, the London Aquarium and London Eye. The family, who have never stayed in hotel before spent the night at The Hilton Hotel, where a special welcome was waiting for her in her room (see attached). This morning we arranged for Milly to officially open the Hamleys store on Regent Street where spent time shopping and being entertained.

The family were driven to rehearsal studios in Bermondsey where JLS were rehearsing for their tour.The guys gave Milly a preview of some of their dances and took time out to chat and sign autographs.
