I am playing an another one of Konami's side scrolling arcade games. This time I am playing Sunset Riders, which was made in 1991. Unlike the ones I had already played this one is a side scrolling shooter. That means it was one of the first side scrolling shooting games that had appeared. There are four heroes: Steve, Billy, Bob and Cormano. The main antagonist of this is Sir Richard Rose. The plot happens in the wild west of USA. Besides shooting the opponents onto the various sides you can jump into the floors, roofs, etc. Also you can enhance your weapon unless your chosen character dies. Be careful, because one projectile will make you waste your hero's life. There are also the bonus stages.
I really enjoyed playing this arcade game even though I had never played it before, because I could not find it anywhere in the areas I was having vacations in.
