Our Unplanned Return To Vancouver Island's Mystical Mountain Lake

Welcome back to Backroad Journals and thank you for joining us on our return to one of Vancouver Island's most beautiful and mystical mountain lakes.
We set out to find camp on Easter Weekend, knowing that it would be difficult to find a peaceful and quiet camp. After striking out twice, we decided to make the long and rough ride to one of our favorite places here on Vancouver Island, just to find a locked gate.
As it was getting late in the day and not a lot of options left, we decided to just stay close to the lake on a spur just of the main FSR.

Besides the always good company, we want to thank Harry from ‪@outlandharry‬ and Harry's Michelle, for providing us with the GoPro footage used for some of the driving shots as well as the campfire shot.
