I ordered a new KWR-003 wireless remote kit on ebay for $150. When I discovered that the plug and play connector were for a 4-wire handheld remote (mine was smaller and 3-wire), I decided to attempt a hard wire install. Turns out it only took 2 wires to operate the dump trailers Power Up / Gravity Down operations.
Keep in mind this will probably void the wireless remote warranty.
I am in no way instructing you to do this type of install any trailer. This is simply me sharing my own personal experience.
