Once upon a time, in a quiet little village bordered by whispering forests, there lived a sweet and gentle girl. She was known to all as Little Red Riding Hood, for she wore a beautiful red cloak with a hood wherever she went — a gift stitched with love by her grandmother’s hands.
One morning, as the birds sang and the flowers swayed, Little Red Riding Hood’s mother asked her to carry a basket of warm bread, sweet butter, and ripe berries to her grandmother, who had fallen ill. Before sending her off, she gently warned, "Stay on the path, my dear, and speak to no strangers."
With a skip in her step and a song in her heart, Little Red Riding Hood set off through the woods. But the forest was a place of secrets and shadows. Beneath the tall trees, she met a sly wolf whose yellow eyes gleamed with mischief. "Where are you going, little one?" asked the wolf in a voice as smooth as honey.
"I am bringing treats to my grandmother who lives in the cottage beyond the forest," she replied innocently. The wolf, wicked and cunning, smiled to himself. He tricked Little Red Riding Hood into lingering among the wildflowers while he raced ahead, paws silent on the mossy ground.
At Grandmother’s door, the wolf knocked. With a voice disguised as gentle, he entered, locked the grandmother away, and slipped into her bed, donning her cap and glasses.
When Little Red Riding Hood arrived, she found her "grandmother" looking strange indeed. "What big eyes you have!" she exclaimed. "The better to see you with, my dear," came the reply. "What big ears you have!" — "The better to hear you with, my dear." "What big teeth you have!" — "The better to eat you with!"
Just as the wolf sprang forward, the door burst open! A brave woodsman, hearing the cries, stormed into the cottage. With courage and strength, he chased the wolf away and freed the grandmother. The three hugged tightly, hearts pounding but safe at last.
From that day on, Little Red Riding Hood learned the importance of wisdom and caution. And whenever she wandered into the forest, she stayed close to the path, her red cloak glowing like a flame among the trees, a bright promise of safety and hope.
And so, they lived happily ever after.
