Citizenship Bill: Pro-talk ULFA leader Anup Chetia meets Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma

ULFA pro-talk faction’s general secretary and Chief convener of North East Indigenous People’s Forum (NEIPF) Anup Chetia met NPP President and Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Tuesday in Shillong.
Chetia while talking to Northeast Live said that the Forum along with the people of Assam and the North East region will stand against the #CitizenshipAmendmentBill.
The NEIPF delegation who met Conrad Sangma, appreciated his stand against the bill and said that the region needs more leaders like him.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Meghalaya NEIPF, Wellbirth Rani also added that NEIPF is the right platform to combine forces and take up issues concerning the North East and the NEIPF is together with the people of the region in fighting against the B ill.
