Bringing a Patina 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 back to life since '75

I know I have thought to myself many times, I'm not taking in anymore projects. Well, one came at a price that was really hard to say no to.

The car I'm talking about is a 1967 Ford Galaxie 500, two door hardtop. I've named her Goldie, as in Goldie Hawn. Just the era, the color and the beautiful lines just reminded me of the Young Goldie.

Also, as it does and will happen to everyone. Time takes its toll and we just can't help but get old. Things aren't what they used to be, especially if you let yourself go. Goldie is not what she used to be.

It appears that Goldie the Galaxie has been sitting outside for a very long time, possibly flooded, possibly sitting on the ground, who knows. I see there is a front license plate with the year 1975 on it. Could it be possible she hasn't been on the road that long?

Part of me says yes, no doubt. She's been ridden hard and put away wet. Possibly even came out of an old junkyard even. So many mismatched bolts and missing parts. It looked like some teenagers were working on her or something.

Hey, just check it out for yourself. It's just a few guys hanging out, trying to get this car back on the road. Nothing fancy or high budget. As a matter of fact, I probably have less than $1000 in the whole car, including parts I've ordered on eBay and from the local junkyards.

Please watch as much as you can. It's been fun so far. Brings me back to my teenage and early 20s working on cars like this again.
