The Next Call: Ray Johns at TEDxScottAFB

Gen Ray Johns is Commander, Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. Air Mobility Command's mission is to provide rapid, global mobility and sustainment for America's armed forces and provide humanitarian support at home and around the world.  The men and women of AMC -- active duty, Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve and civilians -- provide airlift, aerial refueling, special air mission and aeromedical evacuation.   Gen Johns is a command and experimental test pilot with 4,500 flying hours in a variety of aircraft.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
