Overcasting

Overcasting. A great (and simple) fashion sewing technique, that can be used to neaten and reduce fraying to raw edges of a fashion fabric and found on seams and other like areas. Hey! Not everybody has, or has access to an overlocker / serger! If you fall into this category, then the overcast stitch is an ideal substitute and expands your ever increasing hand sewing knowledge.
