Hey guys, Altered State here. Welcome back to another episode of The Evil Within 2. In this episode we start outside of the gas tunnel we traveled through at the end of the last episode. We travel through the Marrow a bit more, collecting loot, and investigating more signals. We travel through a vent that takes us across a collapsed section of the marrow, and can finally exit near City Hall. First we find a mirror and head back to our room to do some crafting and upgrading. We explore a bit of the area near city hall, before suddenly we spy the photographer and are accosted by a giant camera shutter in the sky. We are on our toes, but things appear to be safe outside the gates of City Hall. We find a key and a new medical pouch, then finally approach the gates to City Hall, where we are in for quite the surprise. The Gruesome Giggling Guardian manifests itself again as the shutter eye in the sky watches. We run away and lead her to a pool of oil which we promptly light on fire with her standing in it. Surprisingly, we take her out using this method, and an added explosive harpoon to one of the faces. With the threat gone, we can loot the area in peace to restock some of the ammo we just wasted. We end before we head inside the City Hall building, which we will be exploring next time.
