Riding a spooking horse past objects in the arena

In this video, I am working with an incredibly athletic young dressage horse and his owner. He is very reactive and spooky, which is hindering his progress. This clip demonstrates how I pick a point past the spooky objects and focus on riding to it, rather than trying to force him to stay on the outside track, which will only increase his adrenaline.

This is just one of a number of techniques that I use to improve spooky horses, and there is a series of videos with me working with this particularly horse within the Your Horsemanship Program.
