Global Award for Entrepreneurship Research 2023 – Award Ceremony

On 29 May 2023, Per Davidsson, Professor at Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) and at the Australian Centre for Entrepreneurship Research, QUT Business School, received the Global Award for Entrepreneurship Research from the Swedish Minister for Finance Elisabeth Svantesson during a ceremony at Operaterrassen in Stockholm.

Conversations around entrepreneurship, knowledge building and why research matters. Speakers included Elisabeth Svantesson, Saeid Esmaeilzadeh, Maria Mattsson Mähl and Magnus Henrekson.

Per Davidsson is awarded for his role as a pioneer of influential and high-quality research contributions and as a community builder in the entrepreneurship field.

The Global Award for Entrepreneurship Research is the foremost global award for research on entrepreneurship. The Award honors significant contributions to theory-building on entrepreneurship and small business development. The Award consists of the statuette ”The Hand of God” by the Swedish sculptor Carl Milles and a prize amount of 100 000 Euros.
