What’s going on before Milan Fashion Week? Part 1 | Runway Casting and Shopping in Milan

Last month, I was at Milan Fashion Week. In this video, I want to give you a genuine glimpse into the life of us models and let you feel our world isn't too distant from yours. Throughout this footage, I take you into my pre-fashion-week days, sharing my thoughts and emotions surrounding these casting moments, plus, some shopping and coffee time in Milan ;) 🛍️☕

Modeling, and much like any other profession, there are highs and lows. When you achieve a milestone, the elation is unparalleled. Conversely, facing rejection from a company, agency, or client can be disheartening. Regardless of our profession, we all share the common thread of humanity—feelings and thoughts.

So, what sets feelings and thoughts apart? Compared to feelings, thoughts grant us a measure of control. We possess the power to select and mold our thoughts. When sadness envelopes you, embrace it, for it is your feeling and there is no need to conceal it. Allow yourself to experience and acknowledge the emotion. Following this, your thoughts will pave the way, shaping the course of your life.

So to keep my cool through all this modeling madness, I've got my secret—yoga sessions and nice coffee shop hangouts. These are my rituals to keep the uncertainty monsters at bay, especially those nerve-wracking castings. Gotta keep the ship sailing smooth! 🚢
