Trout Fishing for GIANT Rainbow Trout near Wytheville Virginia (Rural Retreat - 2022)

In this video, I had the opportunity to fish for some giant rainbow trout in Virginia with one of my mentors. I have worked for Mr. Bland for 20 years and have enjoyed success beyond my wildest dreams under his leadership and guidance. Getting to fish with him was a fishing trip I will never forget. Trout were caught in a private stream on private property near Wytheville, Virginia.

Get Out Fishing was born out of a long time friendship. Jim and Brian grew up fishing in Tennessee and moved to North Carolina in 1996. North Carolina is a fisherman’s paradise. From central North Carolina where we live, we have access to all kinds of fishing. Saltwater fishing can be done along the coast, and freshwater fishing can be done in various lakes and rivers around the state along with trout fishing in the mountain streams of Western North Carolina. No matter what type of fishing we are doing, we are continually learning and we love to share what we learn about fishing with others. For us, fishing is about community and that is what we hope to create with Get Out Fishing. A community of people who love all types of fishing and who love sharing their passion for fishing with others.
