On a tourist cruise the paddle steamer Oscar W hit the Hindmarsh Island bridge and became inoperable due to damaged paddle wheel. The flow in the channel at the time was extremely strong and Oscar was swept downstream towards the Goolwa Barrage. It was caught and stopped before hitting barrage and towed back to Goolwa wharf. Video taken on an Insta360 camera mounted on bicycle handlebar. Edited to standard view video size.
