Chain Link Fence Removal

Описание к видео Chain Link Fence Removal

For this job we need to do a chain-link fence removal.

Looking closely at the chain link fence, you’ll notice that the mesh of wires is only connected to each support beam by a few metal rings. This design makes it easy to remove the wires from the beams.

After removing all the metal rings from the chain link fence, all we have to do to fully disassemble this fence is to push the wire mesh off the beams that support it. In the video, you will see that it’s very satisfying to view the whole fence topple down onto the ground from just a little push. After the fence falls fully flat, we roll it up like a rug to make it easier to move around.

The last part of this job is removing the support beams from the ground. When putting this kind of fence in, you should usually bury the beams at least 24 inches underground, and three inches deeper for every foot of length past four feet. As you can see in the video, this fence is much longer than four feet, so the support beams are buried pretty far down. To remove the support beams, we use our mini skid steer and a claw attachment to safely pull out the support beams.
