2 cups- poha
2onions- finely chopped
4 greenchilli- finely chopped
Lemon-1
Peanuts-4 tablespoon
Curry leaves-12
Mustard seeds-1/4 tbsp
Blacksalt-1/4 tbsp
Salt- according to your taste
Turmeric powder-1/4tbsp
Redchillipowder-1/4tbsp
Oil-2 tbsp
Poha masala or Chaatmasala-1/4tbsp
Hing(asafoetida)-2pinch
Garnish with sev

Poha is one of India’s most popular breakfast (especially in North and western India).
Flattened rice (Poha)is tempered with spices and onions making it the perfect way to start the day.Poha is very easy to make, it requires little cooking, the flattened rice just need to be rinsed till it’s softened and that’s about it.
You need to braise the onions with some curry leaves and groundnuts with a twist of aromatic spices . Serve it with lemon and green chilies.
It is low in calories, so it is considered as a healthy snack.
