1991 Haro Sport BMX Restoration EP3. Review & restoration of the Mid School BMX components.

In episode 3 of the 1991 Haro "Bash Guard" Sport BMX restoration, we go through all of the components for the build, review the upgrades that will be used, and carry out the servicing and restoration of the parts.

We also take a look at how to distinguish the various models of Haro Kneesaver bars, and go through a guide that shows some of the main differences in the bars between 1989 and 1999.

I also show you a quick way to check if your handlebars are bent. this saves you spending time and money refinishing bars that are damaged and not worth repairing.

While restoring the parts I also share some tips and tricks on restoring wheels, an easy way to remove a BMX freewheel, and how to properly clean parts so that you can preserve the survivor finish instead of refinishing items.

Finally, I also give you an overview on my preferred technique for removing rust from Chrome parts by using Oxalic Acid.
