"Uzr Aane me bhi hai" a famous ghazal sung by Himani Kapoor and penned by "Dagh Dehlvi". This ghazal was originally sung by the very famous ghazal singer“ Begum Akhtar" and a different version of this ghazal was also sung by Ustad "Mehdi Hassan" sahab and "Fareeda Khanum".

About Artist:

Himani Kapoor is an Indian singer and finalist of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005. She has sung in Dil Diya Hai, Aap Ki Khatir, Chingari, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Fool N Final, Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! and Band Baaja Baaraat.

About Poet:

"Dagh",as a disciple of "Zauq" himself, and with a large number of eminent disciples to his own credit, deliberated upon the aesthetic principles of ghazal as a form of intimate poetic conversation. He charged the common speech and combined the poetic manners of the Lucknow and Delhi schools. In its totality, Dagh’s poetry is idiomatic and appealing, laden with emotions and good humour.

Uzr aane mein bhi hai aur bulaate bhi nahin
Baais-e-tark-e-mulaaqaat bataate bhi nahin

Khoob parda hai ke chilaman se lage baithe hain
Saaf chhupte bhi nahi saamane aate bhi nahin

Ho chuka qata talluq toh jafaayen kyon hon
Jinko matalab nahin rahataa hai woh sataate bhi nahin

Zeest se tang ho ae Dagh toh jeetey kyon hon
Jaan pyari bhi nahin jaan se jaate bhi nahin
