Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Triangle 235/75 R 17.5 load range J radial tire with this 17-1/2-inch solid center gray steel wheel. Now, this tire and wheel assembly is going to be ideal for trailers. This wheel has a .19-inch positive offset that's going to ensure that this assembly is positioned closer to your trailer frame. Now, this radial tire is great for highway use.

It features all steel belts. It's going to enhance its durability and extend tread life. And this computer-generated tread design and premium rubber compound materials are gonna give you superior traction in wet or dry conditions. And the wide shoulders promote even wear. Now as I mentioned at the beginning of our time together, this tire is a 235/75 R 17.5, as we have stamped there on our tire.

And this is a load range J tire, meaning it has an 18 ply rating. The maximum load is 6,005 pounds at 125 PSI. And this has a speed rating of J, indicating a maximum speed of 62 miles per hour. Now, this is a hub piloted steel wheel and it has a capacity of 6,005 pounds. And this does have excellent corrosion resistance with a gray powder coat finish over an e-coat primer.

As I mentioned, this is a hub pilot wheel, which means it will center on the hub of the axle, not on the lugs. The pilot hole diameter is 4.76 inches. And this does require the use of flange nuts for installation. We do sell them separately here at etrailer.com. And this does use a wheel lug size of 5/8 of an inch by 18 flange nut.

These have non-chamfered boltholes. And as you can see right here, hopefully, this does include a metal valve stem that's already installed in the wheel. Now, the dimensions of our wheel, looking at the diameter first, measuring bead seat to bead seat, this is 17 1/2 inches in diameter. The width of the wheel is 6 3/4 inches. Our bolt pattern is 8 on 6 1/2 inches. And in case you don't know, the first number in the bolt pattern is the number of boltholes. And then that second number is the diameter in inches of the circle on which the boltholes sit. So to determine the bolt circle diameter on wheels with an even number of boltholes, as we have here, you're simply gonna measure from the center of one bolthole to the center of the hole directly across from it. Now, just some final notes. This tire has a one-year worry-free guarantee. So if within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way, it will be replaced at no charge from Triangle. And the wheel does meet the Department of Transportation specifications. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our brief look today. I do hope that our time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
