The Special Edition is now even Special-er! Meaning it's about 3 minutes shorter, and has a lot of sound fixes. We didn't go through and George Lucas the whole thing though and "fix" all the VFX. You can still see how bad Alan was at VFX in 2007 when he made this.

Donny Osmond in his first ever villain role? Jonathan Decker stars with a bunch of college kids saving the Utah suburbs from some crazy people and a corrupt governor? Airsoft guns? Bad visual effects? This movie has all these things and more other things!

The feature directorial debut of Alan Seawright, CTU:Provo is a feature length movie. Meaning, it's technically over 1 hour long. It has a plot (a lot of plot, honestly) characters, action, excitement (?,) jokes, and unfortunately, some mild latent misogyny. Look, we were young, and not quite as... aware then. We're working on it.

Rick Macy plays a corrupt Governor. Jimmy Chunga plays a U.S. Senator, and there are a lot of people that Alan knew from Divine Comedy, the sketch comedy troupe he was briefly in at university.

People tell us that this is a "good" movie. That they "like" it. We're not sure we believe them, but we do appreciate the thought.

Also, we had a post-credits scene in this, before Marvel was even making their own movies. So yeah, Alan should get to direct the MCU Fantastic Four reboot when it inevitably comes. Because yeah, a giant rock man? Stretchy science dude? Fire boy!? He could direct the hell out of that!
