Join us as we walk along the historic Canal du Midi between Toulouse to Carcassonne, France over 8 days. The Canal du Midi catalyzed France's Industrial Revolution in the 18th and 19th Centuries, and is now a scenic walk along a river teaming with life, adventure, elegant canal boats, excellent waterside restaurants, and memories waiting to be made. Starting in Toulouse, we visited the charming towns and small cities of Ramonville, Baziége, Villefranche de Lauragais, Avignonet-Lauragais, Castelnaudary, Bram, Caux-et-Sauzens, and ended in Carcassonne. Canal boats float by, using the many locks to traverse up and down this historic canal.
