Nashville's Criminal Attorney David Ridings appears on Dan Abrams Live to discuss the charges agaisnt the 5 Memphis Police Officers charged with the criminal homicide of Tyre Nichols. Abrams suggests that the 2nd Degree charge was possibly excessive in the sense that it will be a difficult job to convict beyond a reasonable doubt as to the issue of the officers conduct being proven at the standard of the "knowing" killing of Nichols.

While almost everyone ageees the behavior of these five officers was criminal, the liklihood of a conviction for 2nd Degree is slim at best, said Ridings in a separate interview.
