The Central Government has decided to award various districts of different states of the country for taking positive steps and various initiatives regarding water use, water conservation, revitalization and the location of the water table below the ground. In view of this decision, the name of Khowai district of Tripura state has been listed. And in view of finalizing this decision, a high-level administrative team of the central government visited various places like Hathai Kotor (Baramura), Moharchhara etc. to take necessary initiatives and implement it. This administrative team was represented by the Additional District Magistrate of Khowai district, Abhedananda Baidya. Apart from the Additional District Magistrate, this team included Bivek Banik, Shubham Datta, Sanjay Debnath and other senior officials were present.
