Shadow work is bringing awareness of those parts of yourself that you have disowned, both good and bad.. You are far more complex and internally contradictory than you might know. Shadow work is definitely not easy, and there is much more to it than presented in this 2-minute #TarotVideo. But here we take a look at how you might gain awareness of your shadow, what supports you in shadow work, and what carries you forward to progress on the path. Interestingly, all the cards came up in the reversal, which is often a reinforcement of the internal, deeply personal nature of the reading, which is exactly what shadow work is, as the energies are inward-focused.

I’ve been doing a lot of shadow work lately, and have been studying with Connie Zweig, whose books have been a huge help. “Meeting the Shadow”, “Romancing the Shadow”, “Meeting the Shadow on the Spiritual Path” are all excellent primers on shadow work if you are ready to honesty confront that which currently lies outside your conscious awareness.
