In this beautiful mantra, we are asking for the whole of the universe to support our spiritual practice and healing as we move toward creating goodwill and respect for others. We are calling on the Divine to bestow upon us a feeling of safe refuge, good relations, tolerance and forgiveness. 

This seems to be a perfect prayer for our current circumstances as we all stand in places of different opinions and viewpoints. We can practice having tolerance and acceptance of our fellow brothers and sisters. We can offer the hand of respect and love no matter the choices that each of us makes personally.
