This is song about being a man, it has spawned many variants with different lyrics, even modern version of it with the same song. This version is 高倉健.


The translation may not be all right, especially first verse as there are LOTS of traditional verbs used and I'm not native Japanese so it can be hard for me to grasp the meanings.
