Archeon is a historic theme park in the Netherlands. The park is based on the Roman findings in the region. In this region of the Netherlands was the original border of the Roman Empire at the Rhine river. All the finds are exposed in the local Roman Museum from the province of South Holland. Moreover, the Roman buildings of the Netherlands, including a farmers house, a villa, a temple, a Roman bath and a theater are rebuilt in the park and can be visited. Moreover, there is also a hunter-gatherer camp and a medieval town. The medieval town of Gravendam is partly rebuilt to discover the lives of our ancestors from the past.
