Intelligence quotient is a mathematical and statistical representation of intellectual assessment which can be calculated by multiplying the fraction of mental age and chronological age with 100.
Mental age is expressed in years and scored by assessing Intelligence on standardized Intelligence test.
Chronological age is actual age since birth and it is also expressed in years.
Alfred Binet is very well known psychologist who worked on Intelligence tests and gave Binet - Simon scale and Stanford- Binet Intelligence test which was very famous and popular Intelligence tests of that decade.
