カピバラ 「てる」君

「キラ」と輝く笑顔
実は年に数回しか食べることができない、「てる」君大好物の「タケノコ」
「今日のおやつはタケノコあるよ〜」と伝えたら、突然「え〜」っと
ビックリ顔して、ルンルンになったのでした。

カピバラ って、最近私たちの言葉を理解しているなぁ〜と思う瞬間が多いのですが
何と、単語まで覚えて理解しているとはびっくりしました。

でも考えてみれば、自分の名前を認識できるんですから単語を覚えていても当然ですね。
色々とカピバラの凄さを思い知らされる今日この頃です( ^ω^ )

Teru's favorite food is bamboo shoots, which he can only eat a few times a year
When I told him "Today's snack is bamboo shoots," he suddenly said "Eh?"
and looked surprised, then became very happy.

There have been many moments recently when I thought capybaras understand what we say, but I was surprised to find out that they even remember and understand words.

But when you think about it, they can recognize their own name, so it's only natural that they remember words.
These days, I'm reminded of the amazingness of capybaras in many ways (^ω^)
