ASRock Arc B580 Steel Legend review

We've benchmarked and tested Intel's new Arc B580 Battlemage GPU and compared it with similarly priced graphics cards, including the RTX 4060, RTX 3060, RX 7600 XT, RX 7600, and Arc A770 16GB. Testing was conducted at 1440p ultra, 1080p ultra, and 1080p medium.

Our test graphics card is the ASRock Arc B580 Steel Legend OC, which has a nominal GPU core overclock of 2800 MHz. Except, all the Arc B580 GPUs seem to hit the maximum 2850 MHz boost clock out of the box, so the overclock doesn't actually help or hurt. Manually overclocking is possible, but the gains are quite limited. We only managed a 200 MHz core overclock, which amounts to a seven percent improvement at best. GDDR6 overclocking was even more limited, with instability and graphical corruption at 20 Gbps, so 19.5 Gbps was all we could get — a 2.6% improvement over stock.
