This will guide you on how to access and download two important benefit letters all veterans should have on file using VA.gov (https://www.va.gov/)

➡️ Benefit Summary and Service Verification Letter: used to get DoD ID Card on base, when applying for benefits such as state or local property or vehicle tax relief, civil service preference, obtain housing entitlements, free or reduced state park annual memberships, or any other programs or entitlements

➡️ Benefit Verification Letter: used to prove income when applying for any type of loans.
