Expressions Danceacademy (EDA), est. in 2002, is a local dance studio in east El Paso, TX. The teacher & director, Mrs. Monica Hernandez, has more than 39 years of experience & has taught dance since she was 11 years old. EDA originally began in 2002 in a garage. In 2008, EDA moved their location to a suite dance studio. Since then, EDA has been teaching many dancers & competed/won in a variety of competitions like Showstoppers, Starpower, KAR, JUMP, and most recently, Superior Dance Classic, where they were awarded Grand Champions! They have competed at many competitions in places such as, Las Vegas, NV, Anaheim, CA, Panama City, Fl, Phoenix, AZ, & local competitions as well. Aside from winning, they have also been recipients of special dance scholarships! They prepare months in advance for the competitions & for their Annual Gala. Teaching all dance styles (dancers 3+): Ballet, Tap, Folklorico, Flamenco, Pointe, Partnering & Ballroom! Come & join this award winning studio! EDA ALL THE WAY!🎉
